Job summary

VF Corporation is seeking a Health & Safety and Security Advisor for our Distribution Center in Almelo, the Netherlands. This hands-on role focuses on Health & Safety, risk management and regulatory compliance, while supporting security and asset protection on site.

You will work with DC leadership, floor teams, HR, Maintenance and external partners to strengthen safe practices and a proactive safety culture. Salary range: see Hiring Range below.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Health & Safety, EHS or Prevention Advisor roles in logistics or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of Dutch occupational health and safety legislation (Arbowet, RI&E, Plan of Action).
• Experience with risk assessments and incident investigations; implementing preventive actions.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Perform the statutory duties of the Preventiemedewerker under Dutch law.
• Lead risk assessments, incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Support emergency preparedness, audits and action plan closure.
• Design and deliver Health & Safety training and awareness initiatives.
• Coordinate with Operations, HR, Maintenance and security partners.
