Job summary

UPS is seeking a District Health & Safety Specialist to manage and analyze Health & Safety data, reporting to leadership and supporting continuous improvement across operations in the Netherlands. The role includes risk assessments, audits, and coordinating with site leadership.

Responsibilities include data-driven investigations, developing corrective actions, and supporting safety initiatives while traveling between Heerenveen, Apeldoorn, Eindhoven, and other centres.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree level HBO working and thinking ability.
• MVK Health & Safety qualification or equivalent; if not, to follow MVK course and succeed.
• Relevant Health & Safety experience in an operational or corporate environment.
• Full, clean driving license travelling between regional sites (Heerenveen, Apeldoorn, Eindhoven).
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze Health & Safety data; generate reports on injuries, incidents, and KPIs for leadership.
• Monitor compliance metrics and ensure audit readiness.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve data quality.
• Conduct workplace inspections and support H&S training programs.
• Support investigations and corrective actions for safety concerns.
