Job summary

RMS Marine Service BV is seeking a Logistics Manager 3PL in Rotterdam to oversee third-party logistics for marine operations. The role requires coordinating inbound/outbound shipments, inventory management, and ensuring compliance across global routes.

You will work with 3PL providers, internal teams, and customers to optimize routes, monitor performance, and resolve issues while supporting procurement and continuous improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics and supply chain management with 3PL oversight.
• Inventory management, stock control, reporting, and optimization.
• Customer service experience in logistics/maritime environment; client relationships.
• Procurement process knowledge and supplier negotiations.
• Experience in marine/shipping or industrial logistics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills under time pressure.
• Ability to work on-site in Rotterdam with cross-functional teams.
• Leadership skills: developing teams and driving change.

Responsibilities

• Oversee third-party logistics operations for marine and shipping activities.
• Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments and inventory processes.
• Review order flows and track deliveries to ensure service performance.
• Support procurement activities and supplier coordination.
• Respond to customer inquiries about logistics status.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
