Job summary

Tok West B.V. in Rotterdam seeks a Cash & Carry Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of the Rotterdam location, including the sales floor and warehouse. You will ensure product availability, correct pricing, stock integrity and an attractive, well-organized sales area for professional customers.

You will report to Head of Sales, manage a team of 3, and drive performance with a hands-on leadership style while maintaining compliance with food safety and health regulations.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in Cash & Carry environment, ideally in food wholesale or warehouse/retail
• Proven leadership experience in managing and motivating operational teams
• Strong organizational and planning skills with a hands-on mentality
• Good understanding of inventory management and warehouse operations
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene and health & safety requirements
• Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office
• Good command of English and Dutch; Turkish is a plus
• Established network within the Turkish and/or ethnic market in the wider Rotterdam area would be a strong advantage

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the store including sales floor, goods receipt, storage and replenishment
• Lead, coach and motivate a team of 3 employees, ensuring efficient workforce planning
• Ensure high inventory accuracy through stock control, cycle counts and discrepancy analysis
• Drive revenue growth by upselling and attracting new customers
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health & safety regulations
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Sales and Management to optimize stock availability and customer service
