Job summary

Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain spotless guest rooms and uphold the hotel's high standards of cleanliness and comfort. You will be responsible for making beds, cleaning bathrooms, restocking amenities, and ensuring a welcoming space for guests.

The role requires 1+ year in housekeeping or hospitality, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, with physical stamina for daily hotel tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in housekeeping or a similar role - ideally 1+ year in a hotel or hospitality setting
• A good understanding of cleaning standards, hygiene, and guest expectations
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable reading basic instructions in English (bonus points for other languages!)
• A friendly, professional, and respectful attitude toward guests and colleagues
• Physically fit - you’ll be on your feet, lifting linen, pushing trolleys, and moving quickly throughout your shift
• Flexible to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, and during peak hotel periods

Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American, part of the Dalata Hotel Group, is a 4-star, 173‑room hotel nestled in one of the most beautiful art nouveau buildings in the Netherlands. Home to the legendary Café Americain and Bar Americain, you’ll play a key role in preserving this unique property’s quality, safety, and welcoming atmosphere.

Objective of the Role

As a Room Attendant at Clayton Hotel Amsterdam American, you’ll play a vital role in delivering the comfort, cleanliness, and care our guests expect from a landmark hotel. From perfectly made beds to spotless bathrooms and thoughtful finishing touches, you’ll take pride in creating a warm, inviting space that feels like home. Key Responsibilities

Own Your Room
