Job summary

Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel invites a hands-on Sous Chef to join CIMA Rooftop Bar, where bold Mexican-inspired flavours meet a vibrant rooftop atmosphere in Amsterdam.

You will work closely with the Executive Chef to run day-to-day kitchen operations, lead the team during busy service and help develop menus that reflect the CIMA concept and uphold high HACCP standards. English fluency and Dutch work eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on chef with experience in a busy kitchen.
• Experience as Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef or supervisory role.
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Support daily kitchen operation at CIMA Rooftop Bar and ensure smooth service.
• Lead by example during service and keep the kitchen organized.
• Assist with menu development and seasonal changes.
• Coach and support the kitchen team to maintain energy and quality.
• Maintain HACCP, food safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with front-of-house and bar teams to ensure seamless service.
