Flex is seeking a Robotics System Architect for Motion Controls International (MCi), a Flex company, to define and govern the robotics technology architecture and roadmap. The Robot System Architect works with engineering teams to identify the product/ market fit in low-torque actuators and joint systems aligned with MCi strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in robotics system architecture or equivalent
• Strong technical leadership across mechanical, electronics, software and firmware domains
• Ability to translate high-level objectives into concrete system interfaces and requirements

Responsibilities

• Define and govern the robotics technology architecture and related roadmap
• Lead architecture reviews and cross-domain trade-off decisions
• Coordinate integration with mechanics, electronics, and robot software teams
• Establish system interfaces and calibration concepts and maintain documentation
