Job summary

GLS Netherlands in Enschede biedt een gevarieerde logistieke rol met verantwoordelijkheid en groeimogelijkheden. Je werkt dagelijks aan het retourproces, ondersteunt de Team Leader en onderhoudt duidelijke communicatie met chauffeurs en klanten.

De functie vraagt ervaring in logistiek, een MBO-4 diploma in logistiek is gewenst, en goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels. Een voltijdse dienstverband is mogelijk met een vast contract en doorgroeimogelijkheden.

Qualifications

• Ervaring in logistiek, transport of vergelijkbare functies.
• Voorkeur voor een MBO-4 diploma in logistiek.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels (schrift en gesprek).
• In staat om te communiceren met chauffeurs en collega's.

Responsibilities

• Ontvangen en ondersteunen van retourchauffeurs bij terugkeer.
• Controleren routedocumenten en administratieve details.
• Registreren en verwerken van retouren en afwijkingen.
• Signaleren van operationele knelpunten en meewerken aan oplossingen.
• Communiceren met chauffeurs, collega’s en klanten.
• Ondersteunen van de Teamleider in dagelijkse taken.
• Zorg dragen voor correcte administratieve verwerking.
• Bijdragen aan verbeteringen in logistieke processen.

Wat je gaat doen

In this position, you play an important role in the daily return process at GLS. When drivers return from their routes, you make sure everything is handled correctly. You combine logistics with administration and communication. You check documents, register returns and discrepancies and respond when something does not go according to plan. You also support the Team Leader with daily activities. This is a role for someone who can stay calm when things get busy. You know how to prioritize, communicate clearly and maintain an overview when several things happen at the same time.

Your responsibilities include:

• Welcoming and assisting returning drivers;
• Checking route documentation and administrative details;
• Registering and processing returns and discrepancies;
• Identifying operational issues and helping to solve them;
• Communicating with drivers, colleagues and customers;
• Supporting the Team Leader in daily operations;
• Ensuring accurate administrative processing;
• Contributing to improvements in logistics processes.

Functie-eisen

You do not need to know everything immediately. However, you should understand how logistics processes work and feel comfortable communicating with different people throughout your shift.

• You have experience in logistics, transport or a similar position;
• An MBO level 4 diploma, for example in logistics, is preferred;
• You have a good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written;
• You are confident when communicating with drivers and colleagues;
• You remain calm and maintain an overview during busy situations;
• You work accurately and quickly identify discrepancies;
• You are communicative and solution-oriented;
• You can work independently and as part of a team.

Over het bedrijf

At GLS Netherlands in Enschede, you will join a dynamic logistics environment where you have frequent contact with drivers and colleagues. You work closely with the Team Leader and logistics team and have real responsibility within the daily operation.

The location is easily accessible from Enschede and surrounding areas, including Hengelo, Oldenzaal, Haaksbergen, Borne, Losser and Almelo.
