Job summary

GLS Netherlands zoekt een Logistics Returns Employee in Enschede voor een dynamische logistieke omgeving. Je ontvangt chauffeurs bij retour, controleert documenten en registreert retouren en afwijkingen.

Je signaleert problemen en zoekt samen naar oplossingen, met focus op nauwkeurige administratie en klantcontact. Je werkt in een team aan dagelijkse logistieke activiteiten, met aandacht voor kalmte en overzicht, en draagt bij aan procesverbeteringen.

Qualifications

• Ervaring in logistiek, transport of vergelijkbare functie.
• Voorkeur voor MBO niveau 4 diploma in logistiek.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels, zowel schriftelijk als mondeling.
• Zeker en communicatief optreden richting chauffeurs en collega’s.
• Kalm blijven en overzicht houden bij drukte.
• Nauwkeurig werken en snel afwijkingen herkennen.
• Sterke communicatie en oplossingsgericht denken.
• Zelfstandig werken én teamwerk mogelijk.

Responsibilities

• Ontvangen en assisteren van chauffeurs bij retour.
• Controleren van route documenten en administratieve informatie.
• Retouren en afwijkingen registreren en verwerken.
• Operationele problemen signaleren en oplossen in samenwerking.
• Communiceren met chauffeurs, collega’s en klanten.

Job description

Vacaturebeschrijving Wat je gaat doen As a Logistics Returns Employee at GLS, you make sure returning drivers are received properly and that their deliveries and documentation are handled correctly.

You check route documents, process returns and discrepancies and keep an eye on the daily operation. If something does not go according to plan, you identify the issue, communicate with the right people and help find a solution.

Your responsibilities include:

• Receiving and assisting drivers when they return;
• Checking route documents and administrative information;
• Processing and registering returns and discrepancies;
• Identifying and solving operational issues;
• Communicating with drivers, colleagues and customers;
• Supporting the Team Leader with daily activities;
• Ensuring accurate and efficient administrative processing;
• Contributing ideas to improve logistics processes.

You will work in a dynamic logistics environment where situations can change quickly. That is why it is important that you remain calm, maintain an overview and know how to switch quickly when necessary.

• A salary between €2,700 and €3,300 gross per 4 weeks;
• 32 to 40 working hours per week;

• You have experience in logistics, transport or a similar position;
• Preferably, you have an MBO level 4 diploma, for example in logistics;
• You have a good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written;
• You are confident and comfortable addressing drivers and colleagues;
• You remain calm and maintain an overview during busy moments;
• You work accurately and quickly notice when something is not right;
• You have strong communication skills and think in solutions;
• You can work independently as well as together with colleagues.

Over het bedrijf

At GLS Netherlands in Enschede, you will work in a dynamic logistics environment with frequent contact with drivers and colleagues. You will have responsibility in your role and work closely with the Team Leader and the logistics team.

The location is easily accessible from Enschede and surrounding areas such as Hengelo, Oldenzaal, Haaksbergen, Borne, Losser and Almelo.
