Job summary

COREcruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to support high-profile contracts in a retail environment. You will embed a strong safety culture, ensure ISO compliance, and act as a safety expert across multiple sites.

The role requires auditing, incident investigation, and delivering trainings while engaging with client stakeholders and driving continuous safety improvements. Travel across sites is expected within the EU.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Safety Manager or senior HSEQ role within facilities management.
• Working knowledge of EN ISO 45001 and EN ISO 9001 systems.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification (or equivalent).
• Confident communicator, able to influence stakeholders.
• Comfortable working across multiple sites in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead health & safety strategy across the contracts.
• Ensure full compliance with EN ISO standards (45001).
• Act as the subject matter expert for safety within a live operational retail environment.
• Conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments across multiple sites.
• Support operational teams in safe delivery of services within regulated environments.
• Investigate incidents, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Engage with client stakeholders, ensuring alignment with safety expectations and standards.
• Deliver training, toolbox talks and ongoing safety briefings.
• Drive continuous improvement in safety performance and reporting.
