Job summary

HEINEKEN Leiden is offering a Finance-focused internship in Retail Business Control. You will monitor performance and translate financial and commercial data into clear business insights, working with Finance and commercial colleagues to support reporting, forecasting and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics, Econometrics or a related field.
• Interest in financial processes, internal controls and process improvement.
• Analytical mindset and data handling; Excel or Power BI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyse retail sales, volume, revenue, margin and cost performance.
• Support month-end closing procedures, reporting and forecasting activities.
• Investigate trends and variances and translate into insights.
• Improve dashboards, reporting tools and financial processes.
• Collaborate with Retail Business Control, Sales and other Finance teams.
