Job summary

HEINEKEN in Leiden invites you to join an Internship in Finance: Business Control Out of Home. You’ll map financial processes, test controls, and identify improvement opportunities in an international business services setting.

You’ll work with Finance and international teams to design or improve controls and support sustainable changes. The program runs 5–6 months, starts 1 February 2027, with a hybrid work arrangement and a monthly €650 gross allowance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics.
• Interest in financial processes, internal controls and process improvement.
• Analytical mindset with comfort in working with data.
• Proficient communication and ability to work in international teams.

Responsibilities

• Map financial processes and existing controls.
• Analyze data and test control effectiveness.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve efficiency.
• Design or improve controls and document ways of working.
• Support implementation and embedding of improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance and international business services teams.
