Job summary

Excel Hotel Group is seeking a Restaurant Server to prepare beverages, coffees, and serve food while upholding brand standards and sanitation guidelines. The role supports the daily F&B operations, including banquets, and ensures courteous service to all hotel guests.

The position requires standing for long periods, a Food Handlers Card, and flexibility for evenings, nights, and weekends. Training and advancement opportunities are part of the company’s development programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in food and beverage service.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 20 lbs.
• Compassionate customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Report to the F&B Manager or shift supervisor at the start of your shift.
• Complete duties as assigned by the F&B Manager.
• Assist in checking for proper food and taste as directed.
• Monitor staffing levels and communicate call-outs or changes to the manager.
• Check warewashing machine temperatures and chemical levels.
• Set up dishes and silverware for easy access during shifts.
• Ensure the POS equipment functions correctly and supplies are stocked.

Job Summary

The Restaurant Server is to prepare alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages, Specialty coffees and serve/prepare food in accordance within the brand's quality and control standards. To assist in the overall duties of the daily operation of the F&B department including meeting banquets to efficiently serve all hotel patrons in a courteous and professional manner. To maintain proper sanitation at all times as per local health department regulations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Report to the F&B Manager or the shift supervisor at the beginning of your shift.

Complete duties as assigned by the F&B Manager.

Assist the F&B Manageror shift supervisor in checking for proper food and taste.

Check staffing levels. Inform appropriate staff members of any call outs and notify of any changes. Consult with the F&B Manager or supervisor if reinforcements need to be called.

Check warewashing machine for proper temperature and chemical level.

Make sure appropriate dishes and silverware are set up nearby for easy access during your shift.

Ensure the POS equipment is in correct functioning order and all supplies are stocked and available.

Ability to stand for 8 hours, lift push pull up to 20lbs

Food Handlers Card Required

Be willing and have the ability to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends
