Job summary

PPHE Hotel Group is seeking a creative Marketing Intern to support the PR & Marketing team for our restaurants and bars across Europe, including Amsterdam. You will work closely with senior managers to develop content, campaigns and promotions that drive engagement and awareness.

The role suits a Bachelor-level student in Marketing or related field, with strong English skills and a passion for hospitality, food and drink.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level studies in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or Branding.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written). Dutch a plus.
• Experience with Canva, InDesign and Adobe Photoshop is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Lead content planning, engagement, scheduling and growth for social media accounts for restaurants and bars.
• Create content for restaurants, bars, events in line with strategy.
• Assist in designing meta campaigns and creatives for restaurant, bar and events.
• Support copywriting and website updates for restaurants and bars.
• Assist with PR visits organization for restaurants and bars.
• Produce collateral to promote venues or guest experiences.
• Compile PR and marketing reports for meetings.
• Support email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
• Assist menu audits, design and printing processes.
• Support internal communications to energize the business.
• Keep content and listings up to date across portals.
• Provide administrative support to the marketing team.

We are looking for a creative, fast learner who is especially passionate about all things food and drink, online & offline marketing, all things content, social media & design. In this role of Restaurant & Bars PR & Marketing Intern, you will be supporting the success of all our destination restaurants and bars in London, Amsterdam, and Rome. You will work closely with the Senior PR & Marketing Manager & PR & Marketing Manager in the restaurant and bar team as well as all the social central support team and regional teams.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Lead trend watching, content planning, engagement, scheduling and growth activity for management of social media accounts for restaurants and bars (remit TBD).
• Content creation for restaurants and bars, events in line with strategy set by team.
• Support designing of meta campaigns & creatives for restaurant, bar & events.
• Support copywriting and updates for websites for restaurants & bars.
• Support organization of PR visits for restaurants & bars.
• Designing & printing of collateral to promote restaurant, bar, event or to enhance the guest experience.
• Compile PR & Marketing reports for stakeholder meetings.
• Support email marketing campaigns and newsletters.
• Support menu audit, design and printing process.
• Support internal communications to get the business excited about what we are doing.
• Ensure our content drives & online portals are efficiently organized and up to date.
• Ensure third‑party online listings are up to date.
• Support overall marketing team efforts with ongoing admin support.

What we are looking for

• Someone who is sparky, creative, enthusiastic and not a stranger to the worlds of restaurants, bars & hotels.
• Currently studying at Bachelor level (or higher) in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Branding.
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) a must, and Dutch a large benefit.
• Eager to learn Marketing & bring creativity to the table; no idea is too crazy.
• Experience with Canva, InDesign, Adobe Photoshop is a bonus.
• Ability to set goals and accomplish them within given timeframes.
• Hands‑on and capable of working independently, plus enjoy working in a team.
• Highly organized and systematic approach, strong execution, eye for detail.
• Strong analytical skills, whilst staying curious and creative.
• Proactive and self‑driven.
• Know what is hot, what is on trend, and what is not.

We provide a monthly allowance starting from €550, exceeding Horeca CAO (BOL) guidelines, with full coverage of job‑related expenses.
