Job summary

Amsterdam UMC's Immunotherapy Center seeks three Research Technicians for the Immune Monitoring Unit to support active immunotherapeutic clinical trials and a strategic collaboration focusing on cervical and vulvar cancer.

You will coordinate patient biospecimen handling, perform high-resolution immune profiling with spectral flow cytometry and advanced microscopy, and contribute to assay development and scientific integration across departments.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in flow cytometry and imaging.
• Experience with spectral cytometry and immune cell assays preferred.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and ensure sample integrity.
• Excellent scientific communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient biospecimen collection with clinical teams.
• Process samples and biobanking per immune monitoring protocols.
• Conduct high-resolution immune profiling using spectral flow cytometry and microscopy.
• Develop and optimize immunological assays (e.g., T-cell assays, cytokine profiling).
• Participate in knowledge exchange at national symposia and stay updated on innovations.
