Job summary

MAT Research in Leiden invites applications for a Scientist with a strong immunology background. You will perform hands-on laboratory work, contribute to assay development, and support QA/QC in a fast-growing biotech environment.

The ideal candidate holds a PhD in Immunology or related field, has hands-on PBMC isolation and cell-based assay experience (ELISA, Flow Cytometry), and can document results clearly. English communication and teamwork are essential; willingness to travel is a plus.

Qualifications

• PhD in Immunology, Immuno-oncology, Immunotherapy, Cell Biology, or related discipline.
• Hands-on experience with PBMC isolations and cellular assays.
• Experience with analytical methods and regulatory standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute experiments in immunology and assay development.
• Support QA/QC standards and regulatory documentation.
• Contribute to product development and lab process improvements.
• Collaborate with lab technicians and scientists for smooth operations.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports.
