Reporting Analyst

The company aims to help clients mitigate financial risks related to non-payment for goods and services. It leverages a vast network and extensive data to provide informed trade credit decisions and support businesses in managing credit risk effectively.

Job Description:

For the Corporate Finance & Tax team, which is responsible for the management of investments, we are currently looking for a Reporting Specialist for Corporate Finance.

Key responsibilities:

1. Prepare relevant financial reports and files related to investment activities using R-Studio.
2. Reconcile data between financial standards (such as IFRS) and specific regulatory frameworks (e.g., Solvency II) using R-Studio.
3. Identify opportunities to improve the quality of reports, as well as process efficiency.
4. Develop strong technical and IT skills, particularly related to reporting on investments.
5. Assist with developing reports on investment assets, including but not limited to IFRS 9, using tools such as Excel and Tableau.
6. Create new reports on sustainability of investments and track their development.
7. Support the investment team with ad-hoc queries and analysis of varying complexity.
8. Liaise with internal teams to adapt systems and processes in line with changes in the investment portfolio and external regulations.
9. Opportunity for role growth beyond the listed responsibilities, contingent on the candidate’s willingness to expand.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Strong technical background in programming languages.
2. Proficiency in R-Studio or willingness to learn R quickly based on experience in similar programming languages.
3. Proficiency in other programming languages and advanced Excel skills are also welcomed.
4. Proven experience in automating the generation of results using tools such as Excel, R-Studio, or other programming languages.
5. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
6. Experience in developing models related to market risk, cashflow, or income projections is a plus.
7. Good command of written and spoken English is essential.
