Job summary

Jobgether, partnering with a Netherlands-based company, seeks a Tech Lead/Sr Backend Engineer (Go). You will own backend architectures, build Kubernetes Operators with Go, and drive cloud-native, scalable microservices across AWS, GCP, and Azure.

You will guide architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and shape reliability and maintainability of complex systems in a distributed, remote-friendly setup.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend development experience
• 5+ years with Go
• Experience as Tech Lead / Team Lead or similar
• Strong Kubernetes production experience
• Hands-on with Kubernetes Operators using Go and Operator SDK
• Backend architecture skills: RESTful services, microservices, highly available systems
• Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure; cloud-native operations

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of scalable backend applications with focus on availability and resilience
• Develop Kubernetes Operators using Go and Operator SDK
• Own backend solutions from architecture to deployment and maintenance
• Design RESTful services and microservices for complex workloads
• Implement high-availability and disaster recovery strategies
• Manage containerized environments with Kubernetes and Docker Swarm where relevant
• Collaborate across teams to ensure reliability of backend services and platforms
