Job summary

Slashhash seeks an Engineering Manager, SRE to lead a globally distributed Site Reliability Engineering team. You will drive reliability across Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, and CI/CD pipelines, shaping incident response, observability, and IaC practices.

You will stay hands-on when needed, mentor engineers, partner with security, and balance operational work with strategic projects in a fully remote, asynchronous setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical depth in Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, CI/CD, observability and IaC.
• Proven people leadership experience and ability to manage career progression.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a Site Reliability Engineering team, owning onboarding, feedback, performance management, progression, coaching, and hiring.
• Establish team direction and priorities aligned with company goals, balancing operations with project delivery.
• Serve as the team's spokesperson to engineering and senior leadership, communicating priorities and risks clearly.
• Own SRE delivery goals, decide commitments, prioritization and operational responsibilities.
• Design and maintain effective on-call processes and incident response practices.
• Provide technical leadership across Kubernetes, AWS, PostgreSQL, DNS, TLS, CI infrastructure and platform.
