Job summary

IQVIA Inc is seeking a Senior Medical Director to provide strategic medical and scientific leadership across therapeutic areas, including early engagement with customers and proposal development for RFPs. The role includes acting as a medical director and SME throughout the R&D lifecycle and clinical trials, guiding the Center of Excellence's strategy and execution.

Experience: Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience.
Requires exceptional business knowledge to drive results for the organization.
At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a CRO setting, obesity expertise is a plus.

Responsibilities

Work independently of the therapeutic area head.
Demonstrate independence in strategic proposal development with the proposal team.
Lead client proposal bid defense meetings as medical director and subject matter expert.
Act as consultant throughout the R&D lifecycle and clinical trials; provide standalone customer solutions.
Formulate clinical development plans and execute group strategy for the Center of Excellence.
