Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer - Acquisition based in the Netherlands to shape digital experiences powering modern brokerage and trading technology. You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality web and mobile applications enabling customers to access sophisticated financial products through intuitive interfaces.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of professional frontend development experience with TypeScript and React.
• Three+ years of experience developing mobile applications for both Android and iOS.
• Two+ years of systems programming experience with Go, C++, or Rust.
• Strong HTML, CSS, and Tailwind CSS skills for polished, accessible interfaces.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and WebSockets for real-time data.
• Relational database experience and SQL.
• Ability to translate designs into production-ready interfaces with attention to detail.
• Track record of establishing or influencing frontend best practices and standards.
• Focus on performance, usability, accessibility, and responsive design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable web and mobile apps for trading and brokerage use.
• Develop Trading API dashboards, cash features, and account solutions.
• Own features end-to-end from design to deployment and improvement.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering to deliver intuitive interfaces.
• Develop mobile experiences across iOS and Android with consistent performance.
• Integrate REST APIs and WebSockets for reliable data exchange.
• Identify and fix frontend performance bottlenecks and accessibility issues.
• Advise on frontend architecture and engineering best practices.
• Mentor fellow engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Work with stakeholders to align technical work with business goals.
• Evaluate new technologies to improve engineering efficiency and product quality.
