Job summary

Salve.Inno Consulting seeks a Senior Cloud & Platform Engineer to join a highly technical infrastructure team. You will own production cloud environments on AWS, leverage Kubernetes, and drive automation and security improvements.

You will discuss architecture with customers and represent the engineering team in technical conversations, contributing to platform reliability and scalability.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in Cloud, Platform, DevOps, Infra or SRE.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS, including architecture and best practices.
• Advanced production Kubernetes experience is essential.
• Strong hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Experience with infrastructure automation; Ansible is relevant.
• Understanding of production infra, scalability, availability, reliability principles.
• Experience with monitoring, observability and troubleshooting distributed production environments.
• Experience with CI/CD and modern cloud-native delivery practices.
• Scripting or programming ability for infra automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, operate and continuously improve production cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Assess existing environments and propose improvements.
• Work with Kubernetes in production; contribute to platform arch and reliability.
• Build and maintain infrastructure with Terraform and IaC.
• Develop automation using Python, Bash, Java or similar.
• Strengthen platform reliability, observability and security.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual work via automation.
• Contribute to cloud and Kubernetes architecture decisions and best practices.
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis in production.
• Translate requirements into clear infra solutions for customers.
• Collaborate with engineering to integrate infra in the development lifecycle.
• Share knowledge and raise engineering standards.
