Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer based in the Netherlands to own and operate our scalable cloud infrastructure. You will manage production Kubernetes deployments, AWS resources, and CI/CD pipelines, while driving observability and cost efficiency across a fast-growing AdTech/e-commerce platform.

You will collaborate with development teams, build automation, and enhance IaC practices, with a strong emphasis on proactive problem-solving and ownership in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE roles.
• Proven experience with production systems requiring high availability.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience in production deployments.
• Strong AWS knowledge across EC2, VPC, S3, IAM.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch.
• Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash.
• Knowledge of GitOps and IaC (Terraform).
• Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage, deploy, and maintain containerized apps using Kubernetes in production.
• Manage AWS infrastructure for scalability, reliability, security, and cost efficiency.
• Monitor performance and improve alerting/observability for high availability.
• Streamline CI/CD pipelines and optimize deployment workflows.
• Troubleshoot issues, investigate root causes, and drive incident resolution.
• Improve infrastructure automation and DevOps practices.
• Support cost optimization for EC2 and other resources.
• Contribute to GitOps and IaC initiatives as appropriate.
• Build dashboards with Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
