Job summary

Eswelt is seeking a Salesforce Security & Data Privacy Specialist for an international transformation project. The role is remote, with 24-40 hours per week on a freelance/projects basis, starting January 2027 for an initial 3 months.

You will guide security architecture, privacy controls and GDPR compliance across consolidated Salesforce environments. You will collaborate with internal Salesforce teams and external implementation partners, providing advisory oversight rather than hands-on

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Salesforce administration, consulting or security architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce security, access management and data privacy.
• Experience with GDPR requirements in Salesforce environments.
• Ability to advise stakeholders and challenge proposed solutions where necessary.
• Experience working in international transformation programmes.
• Hands-on Salesforce configuration experience is an advantage, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Advise on Salesforce security architecture, data privacy and GDPR compliance.
• Review existing security configurations, including permission sets, profiles, sharing rules and access controls.
• Provide guidance on Single Sign-On (SSO) and identity management.
• Identify security and privacy risks during the consolidation of two Salesforce orgs.
• Review proposed designs and solutions to ensure alignment with security and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Administrators, business stakeholders and external implementation partners.
• Act as a trusted advisor, providing oversight rather than hands-on development.
