Soverin in Amsterdam is seeking a skilled Full-Stack Engineer to join our growing tech team. You will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails and modern frontend tech, focusing on quality and performance.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and other engineers to deliver delightful user experiences, while upholding code quality, tests, and best practices in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing web applications using Ruby on Rails (RoR).
• Strong relational DB experience (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and ORM (ActiveRecord).
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (RSpec) and Git version control.
• Analytical and proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Development: Design, build, and maintain Ruby on Rails backend code and dynamic frontend features.
• Architecture & Scalability: Shape technical architecture for performance, responsiveness, and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into solutions.
• Code Quality: Participate in code reviews, write tests, and promote best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Debug issues, optimize performance and security.
