Job summary

Grafton Capital Advisory in the Netherlands is seeking a Reporting Analyst to produce timely monthly variance reports. You will load actuals, map them to budget lines, and explain variances using invoices, payroll and banking data. The role is fully remote within the Netherlands.

The position involves maintaining consistent report layouts, tracking forecast updates, and leveraging tools like Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, and basic SQL to enhance insights for finance teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance, accounting, business or related subject.
• Experience with monthly reporting processes and variance analysis.
• Proficiency with Excel/Sheets for pivot tables, lookups, charts.
• Familiarity with financial statements (P&L).

Responsibilities

• Load monthly actuals from accounting exports and map them to each budget line.
• Calculate budget variances and flag those above threshold.
• Draft explanations for variances from invoices, payroll data and bank statements.
• Maintain monthly report pack layout consistently across months.
• Track forecast updates to compare against latest version.
