Job summary

Huntington National Bank is seeking a Financial Relationship Banker to join our branch team. You will focus on retaining and growing consumer and business relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and recommending deposit, loan, and other banking products and services.

You will deliver excellent customer service, resolve issues, educate customers on online and mobile banking, and collaborate with partners to deepen relationships while adhering to all policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of customer service or sales experience in banking or related field.
• Fingerprints required for background check per NMLS regulations.
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
• Proactively identifies opportunities to grow customer relationships through pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, and sourcing referrals from customers, bank colleagues and partners.
• Educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships.
• Educating customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking).
• Maintaining your knowledge of all products, services, technology and policies.
• Adhering to all operational, security, risk and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
