Job summary

Zoho is seeking a QA Engineer to own product quality across our web applications. You will design test plans, execute functional and regression tests, and collaborate with developers and product teams to ship reliable software.

You will also conduct API testing, explore edge cases, and contribute to QA processes and release workflows. This is a 100% remote role with flexible hours and emphasis on measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing/QA.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Strong experience with functional and regression testing.
• Good understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
• Basic to good understanding of SQL/database testing.
• Experience with bug-tracking and project-management tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to identify edge cases.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful test scenarios.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with developers and product teams.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of overall quality of the features you’re assigned to.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and checklists.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and usability testing.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs with reproduction steps.
• Collaborate with developers and Product Managers to investigate issues.
• Perform API testing and validate backend responses, data, and integrations.
• Identify edge cases and quality risks before development completes.
• Regression test new releases to ensure existing functionality remains intact.
• Improve QA processes, testing standards, and release workflows.
• Support automation initiatives where applicable and reduce repetitive manual testing.
• Ensure releases meet quality expectations and user needs.
