Job summary

Zoho is seeking a QA Engineer to own product quality across our web applications. You will design test plans, execute functional and regression tests, and collaborate with developers and product teams to ship reliable software.

You will also conduct API testing, explore edge cases, and contribute to QA processes and release workflows. This is a 100% remote role with flexible hours and emphasis on measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing/QA.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
• Experience creating and executing test cases and test scenarios.
• Strong experience with functional and regression testing.
• Good understanding of API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
• Basic to good understanding of SQL/database testing.
• Experience with bug-tracking and project-management tools such as Jira, Asana, or similar.
• Strong attention to detail and an ability to identify edge cases.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into meaningful test scenarios.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with developers and product teams.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

Understand product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify testing requirements.

Create detailed test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and checklists.

Perform functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and usability testing across web applications.

Identify, document, prioritize, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and supporting evidence.

Work closely with developers and Product Managers to investigate and resolve issues.

Perform API testing and validate backend responses, data, and integrations.

Participate in requirement discussions and identify potential edge cases and quality risks before development is completed.

Perform regression testing for new releases and ensure existing functionality is not affected.

Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and release workflows.

Support automation initiatives where applicable and identify opportunities to reduce repetitive manual testing.

Take ownership of the quality of features from requirement analysis through release.

Requirements
