Job summary

Panthera Bio is seeking an experienced Clinical Research Principal Investigator in the Netherlands. The role offers a flexible mix of remote and on-site responsibilities, enabling medical specialists to contribute significant clinical expertise to a broad range of trials.

The PI will oversee trial conduct, ensure participant safety, and maintain strong collaboration with CRAs, Sub-Investigators, and study teams while upholding GCP and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified medical practitioner with recognised specialist expertise in one or more therapeutic areas.
• Current registration with the relevant medical regulatory authority in the Netherlands, with appropriate specialist recognition.
• Commitment to participant safety, research integrity and high-quality clinical trial delivery.
• Previous experience in clinical research as a Principal Investigator or Sub-Investigator.
• Experience providing medical oversight within clinical trials and working collaboratively with clinical research teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as Principal Investigator for allocated clinical trials, taking responsibility for appropriate medical oversight in accordance with applicable regulations and study protocols.
• Provide medical oversight of clinical trial conduct and participant safety at the allocated site.
• Undertake regular Principal Investigator oversight activities and attend meetings with relevant stakeholders.
• Oversee study-specific staff training and ensure appropriate delegation of study responsibilities.
• Maintain regular communication with Clinical Research Associates (CRAs), reviewing and addressing feedback relating to site performance.
• Participate in internal and external audits and regulatory inspections as required.
• Support the identification and referral of suitable participants for relevant clinical trials, where appropriate and in accordance with study requirements.
• Provide clinical guidance and support to Sub-Investigators and the wider research team when required.
• Promote compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), study protocols and applicable regulatory requirements.
