Job summary

Jobgether SRL, representing a partner in the Netherlands, seeks a Nature-based Solutions Analyst to assess and monitor carbon projects across client portfolios. The role blends environmental science with remote sensing and market analysis, contributing to high-integrity nature-based investments.

You will work with an international team to strengthen assessment processes, translate findings for clients, and support knowledge-sharing on evolving standards. Flexible, remote-friendly setup offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in environmental science or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in due diligence, project development, assessment, or monitoring of nature-based solutions projects.
• Strong knowledge of nature-based carbon methodologies, verification standards, certification frameworks, and monitoring approaches.
• Demonstrated expertise in remote sensing and carbon modelling.
• Fluent English; German language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply a structured Nature Analytics Framework to assess and monitor nature-based solution projects within client portfolios.
• Conduct rigorous project due diligence and provide actionable insights to support investment decisions.
• Review carbon projections and assess their underlying assumptions and methodologies.
• Perform remote sensing analyses to evaluate eligibility and land-use characteristics.
• Contribute to refining the Nature Analytics Framework with evolving evidence and standards.
• Monitor developments in carbon market standards and verification frameworks.
• Build knowledge on emerging approaches to nature-based carbon projects.
• Translate complex findings into clear insights for clients and stakeholders.
• Support content and knowledge-sharing initiatives on nature-based solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external technical advisors and partners.
• Collaborate with international teams to strengthen project assessment processes.
