Job summary

Salve.Inno Consulting is seeking an experienced AI/LLM Engineer focused on model fine-tuning and conversational AI. The role centers on training, evaluating and deploying self-hosted open-weight LLMs to power multilingual, personality-consistent AI conversations.

You will work with model training pipelines, datasets, evaluation frameworks and GPU infrastructure to deliver measurable performance improvements across a fast-growing international team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience fine-tuning open-weight LLMs and deploying to production.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with PyTorch and Hugging Face frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with supervised fine-tuning (SFT) and parameter-efficient fine-tuning techniques (LoRA/QLoRA).
• Familiarity with preference optimisation techniques (DPO/GRPO).
• Experience independently preparing training datasets and building evaluation frameworks.
• GPU-based training experiments and debugging training issues.
• Understanding of model behaviour, conversational quality and post-training optimisation.
• Experience taking model improvements from experimentation to production deployment.
• Experience with consumer AI products and complex conversational datasets.

Responsibilities

• Train, fine-tune and optimise open-weight language models to improve conversational performance.
• Develop and maintain post-training workflows (SFT, LoRA/QLoRA).
• Prepare, clean and structure training datasets to improve response accuracy.
• Design evaluation frameworks to measure model quality and guide improvements.
• Enhance multilingual capabilities and conversational memory across extended interactions.
• Collaborate with AI engineers, product and DevOps on deployment.
• Research developments in open-weight LLMs and post-training methodologies.
