Job summary

MSF Netherlands is seeking a Medical Transition Manager to lead the LGBTQI+ inclusion programme as it moves from a project to a sustainable BAU operation. The role requires coordinating across MSF centres, departments, and external partners to secure ongoing ownership and impact.

The position demands a Master’s degree or equivalent and at least 5 years in senior programme management within humanitarian or health NGOs, plus strong stakeholder engagement and governance experience.

Qualifications

• Senior experience (OPS/Medical/Public Health) managing complex programmes or transitions.
• Experience in stakeholder management across international or matrix organisations.
• Experience developing governance structures and organisational strategies.
• Experience in humanitarian/healthcare NGOs is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead the transition of the LGBTQI+ Inclusion Programme from project mode into BAU across MSF movement.
• Develop and implement BAU strategy, governance, milestones and risk indicators.
• Coordinate engagement with Steering Committee, Operational Centres and MSF entities.
• Oversee communication, knowledge transfer and sustainable ownership across the movement.
• Monitor progress against budget and BAU strategy.
• Prepare progress reports for Steering Committee and senior stakeholders.
