Job summary

WLG is seeking an engineer to own a remote satellite imagery collection tool. You will integrate new data sources, keep the map interface useful, and diagnose issues in a live production environment.

You will collaborate with planners and analysts, document changes, and report on performance. Strong GIS knowledge and five+ years in multi‑mission planning are expected, with excellent written and spoken English.

Qualifications

• Hands‑on experience building and running satellite collection tooling.
• Proficiency with GIS and web mapping libraries.
• Experience integrating imagery providers into a single collection capability.
• Excellent spoken and written English in recent work.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Integrate commercial imagery providers into the collection tool and data flow.
• Implement user requests for the map interface based on real needs.
• Investigate bottlenecks and faults in live production and fix root causes.
• Collaborate with planners and analysts to translate operational needs into requirements.
• Keep tool documentation up-to-date with status, issues, and metrics.
• Report on tool performance: availability, success rates, and changes.
