Nalco Water, An Ecolab Company, is seeking an Industry Technical Consultant to serve as a Subject Matter Expert for closed loop systems across Europe. The role emphasizes closed loop chemistry, microbiology, fluid compatibility, and heat transfer performance, with direct-to-chip liquid cooling as a key area.

The consultant will troubleshoot, train, and provide operational recommendations while collaborating with sales, R&D, and marketing to drive innovation and customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science and 5+ years in closed loop water/thermal management fields.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills; ability to train and coach.
• Willingness to travel across Europe and English CV required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales and account teams on technical opportunities.
• Support direct-to-chip liquid cooling and wider closed loop portfolio.
• Understand customer need and recommend treatment and operational solutions.
• Lead root-cause analysis to resolve application issues at sites.
• Document operational savings and publish technical reports.
• Collaborate with R&D and Marketing on innovation projects and pilot trials.
• Deliver training to associates and customers to build proficiency.
• Coach team members on processes, technologies, and value documentation.
