Jobgether is seeking a German Music Localization Specialist based in the Netherlands to refine, edit, and fact-check AI-generated music content for German audiences. You will ensure accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance across Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop and K-Pop content for digital and audiovisual platforms.

Ideal candidates bring native German fluency, proven music content editing experience, and strong editorial voice with awareness of current music culture.

Qualifications

• Copywriting, editing or content creation experience with polished, audience-focused material.
• Native-level German with excellent grammar, spelling and style awareness.
• Demonstrated experience writing/editing music-related content across genres.
• Deep familiarity with Pop, Rock, Hip-Hop and K-Pop terminology and trends.
• Strong knowledge of current music culture and industry developments.
• Ability to adapt content to different audiences while maintaining authenticity.
• Fluent in mainstream pop culture expressions and trends.
• Excellent research, fact-checking and proofreading skills.
• Ability to adjust writing style to editorial requirements.
• Bonus: published music-related work in major outlets.
• Experience with music streaming/editorial platforms is a plus.
• Experience tailoring content for Gen Z audiences.
• Willingness to complete a skills assessment.

Responsibilities

• Content Review and Editing: review, edit, refine, and fact-check music-related content in German for clarity and consistency.
• AI-Generated Content Enhancement: improve US English source content, refining wording and tone for natural German.
• Music Research and Fact-Checking: research music terminology, artists, genres, and trends.
• Cultural and Linguistic Adaptation: tailor content to cultural nuances and audience expectations.
• Editorial Quality Assurance: ensure readability and quality across digital and audiovisual platforms per style guides.
• Tone of Voice Optimisation: adjust style to different genres and contexts with engaging, contemporary voice.
• Content Feedback and Improvement: provide constructive feedback and identify areas for improvement.
• Platform and Workflow Collaboration: use client tools and workflows to meet project timelines.
• Pop Culture Awareness: apply knowledge of mainstream music culture and trends.
