Job summary

Jobgether SRL seeks a Security Compliance Engineer to strengthen security, privacy, and regulatory compliance across a global payments tech environment. You will translate standards into practical controls, support ISO, SOC 2, and PCI DSS audits, and secure AWS/GCP infrastructure while developing Python tools.

You will work with Security, Engineering, and DevOps teams to automate processes, monitor security posture, and drive remediation.

Qualifications

• Practical experience supporting ISO audits and translating compliance requirements into effective technical implementations.
• Experience in fintech, payments, or highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with SOC 2 and PCI DSS frameworks and their technical application.
• Understanding of information security, privacy, data protection, and compliance frameworks.
• Working knowledge of AWS/GCP security services (WAFs, threat detection, monitoring, posture management).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to security audits and certification processes (ISO 27001, 27701, 42001, SOC 2, PCI DSS).
• Translate requirements into scalable technical controls that are enforceable and auditable.
• Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps to implement cloud security controls in AWS/GCP.
• Develop and maintain Python-based security tools to automate processes.
• Support cloud security measures, including WAFs, threat detection, and monitoring.
• Ensure configurations and evidence meet audit requirements and standards.
• Assist privacy initiatives by integrating data protection into systems and workflows.
• Engage in vendor risk assessments and third-party security reviews.
• Cross-functionally identify control gaps and drive remediation and best practices.
• Stay informed on cloud security developments and evolving regulations.
