Job summary

Jobgether SRL, on behalf of a partner company, seeks a Compliance Officer (Regulatory Focus) for E-Money & Payments with remote-first operations across Europe and the UK. You will lead EMI authorisations, safeguard frameworks, and ongoing PSD2/EMD2 compliance, drafting governance materials for regulator-ready submissions while coordinating with senior compliance leadership.

This role offers autonomy within a fintech environment, exposure to crypto-related regulation, and an international team

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in regulatory compliance, with at least 3 years in EMI/PI within EEA or UK.
• Hands-on experience drafting governance and internal control narratives for authorisations.
• Experience engaging with national authorities or the FCA on regulatory feedback and reviews.
• Strong safeguarding expertise and fund segregation methodologies.
• Working knowledge of EMD2, PSD2, and UK electronic money and payment services regulations.
• Familiarity with AMLD, FATF, sanctions, and related governance expectations.
• Excellent English writing and speaking skills, regulator-ready documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead EMI authorization workstreams, coordinating documents and governance descriptions.
• Manage FCA workstreams, safeguarding arrangements, and related governance documentation.
• Develop safeguarding frameworks across EEA and UK jurisdictions, including audits.
• Support PSD2-related authorization and ongoing compliance obligations.
• Prepare regulatory submissions, responses, and regulator-facing correspondence.
• Assess regulatory implications of products, changes, and outsourcing arrangements.
• Perform gap analyses and drive remediation plans; ensure policy implementation.
• Interpret legislation and translate into practical internal controls.
