Job summary

BUX is seeking a Senior Cloud Security Engineer (GCP) to reinforce our Amsterdam-based engineering security posture. You will lead security strategy across cloud platforms, shaping secure product delivery and resilient operations for a fast-growing fintech team.

The role requires hands-on expertise in GCP, SIEM/SOAR, and DevSecOps, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and secure development practices.

Qualifications

• Senior/Staff level cloud security experience with GCP.
• Strong knowledge of SIEM/SOAR and security operations.
• Experience with IaC security (Terraform, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, DORA).

Responsibilities

• Strengthen security posture across cloud platforms and services.
• Lead security assessments, threat detection, and incident response.
• Implement SCC Enterprise and secure CI/CD integrations.
• Develop security dashboards and metrics for stakeholders.
• Provide security training and guidance to engineering teams.
• Coordinate with auditors and external security partners.
