Job summary

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. is seeking an Expert Lead Finance & Risk Data Platform to steer a critical data platform for Finance and Risk reporting, analytics, and regulatory commitments.

You will lead a team of data professionals, shape the data strategy, and drive governance and AI-enabled use cases. In this role you translate strategy into concrete priorities, ensure data reliability, and collaborate with Finance, Risk, IT and regulatory stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team and delivering in data platforms for Finance & Risk.
• Strong understanding of data governance, quality, lineage and regulatory expectations (BCBS239).
• Proven ability to translate strategy into actionable platform priorities.
• Excellent written and spoken English; strong stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the vision, roadmap and priorities for the Finance & Risk Data Platform.
• Lead and develop a team of experts and specialists, aligning goals and growth.
• Drive platform improvements across data sourcing, integration, transformation, quality, lineage and controls.
• Act as a senior stakeholder partner for Finance, Risk, IT and reporting teams.
• Enable AI and analytics use cases with trusted, governed data capabilities.
• Prioritise risks, issues and dependencies across platform initiatives, including regulatory commitments.
• Promote a structured, delivery-focused way of working across teams with clear decisions.
• Balance innovation with risk management and operational resilience.
