Job summary

Crossing Hurdles is seeking a skilled finance professional for a remote, short-term contractor assignment. You will create and review accounting datasets for AI evaluation, analyze financial statements, and evaluate AI responses for accuracy and financial reasoning.

The role requires experience with multiple organizations and strong reporting skills. The position is remote, 10 weeks, with up to 40 hours per week and 4 hours overlap with PST.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, or financial consulting.
• Experience advising US-based SMB clients on accounting and financial matters.
• Experience working with three or more organizations.
• Strong expertise in accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and review accounting and finance reasoning datasets for AI evaluation.
• Analyze financial statements, bookkeeping records, and accounting scenarios.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, consistency, and financial reasoning.
• Develop prompts, rubrics, and evaluation guidelines for finance-related tasks.
• Identify accounting errors and improve dataset quality.
