Job summary

Soda Data is hiring a Finance & AI Automation Intern to run core finance processes and automate manual work. You’ll work across Soda Data NV (Belgium), Soda Data Inc. (US) and NannyML NV with real responsibilities from week one.

You’ll use Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub, and the Soda MCP to build checks, automate workflows, and document processes. This is fully remote or hybrid near Amsterdam, with a 3-month contractor path to a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Finance degree or in progress in finance/accounting/economics.
• Proven use of AI tools and built automations or scripts.
• High accuracy and verification habits before sign-off.
• Ability to pick up GitHub MCP integrations and finance systems.
• Proactive mindset to identify manual work and automate it.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Remote work with European business hours; hybrid near Amsterdam.

Responsibilities

• Run core finance processes: invoicing, month-end, payroll data prep, expenses, intercompany recharges.
• Automate processes using Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub, and Soda MCP; justify tool choice.
• Build checks and reconciliations to verify outputs.
• Document processes so a colleague and an AI agent can follow.
• Support the wider Finance team with reporting, analysis, and ad-hoc projects.
