Job summary

Jobtailor in Amsterdam is seeking a finance automation enthusiast to learn and own core processes across multiple entities and currencies.

You will automate using Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub, and smart spreadsheet design, build reconciliations, and document processes for colleagues and AI agents. This role suits students or recent graduates aiming to grow in a fast-paced startup.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT and/or building automations, scripts, or advanced spreadsheet solutions, with demonstrated output checks.
• Strong accuracy and verification habits.
• Ability to independently learn GitHub, MCP-based integrations, and finance systems.
• Proactive approach to identifying and automating manual work.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work European business hours from a compatible time zone.
• Experience with accounting software such as Exact Online or QuickBooks or ERP systems is advantageous.
• Exposure to Python, SQL, or API-based automation is advantageous.
• Prior startup or fast-paced work experience is advantageous.
