Job summary

People in Science in Breda is seeking a Product Planner to ensure reliable supply across 75 countries. You will manage product and line planning, coordinating with global teams to optimize inventory while supporting launches and phase-outs.

Ideal candidates have end-to-end planning experience, strong analytical skills, and a track record in continuous improvement. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and proactive problem-solving in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• Proven experience in end-to-end Supply Chain Planning and Operations, preferably in regulated environments such as pharmaceuticals, medtech, food/beverages, or ingredients.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate and build strong connections.
• Experience with Continuous Improvement methodologies and tools (Lean and Six Sigma).
• Can-do mentality and leadership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the planning activities of tactical and strategic horizon.
• Ownership of products and line for mid- and long-term planning in Rapid Response.
• Communicate effectively with critical resource owners.
• Participate in weekly and monthly meetings and collaborate with Global teams for strategic decisions.
• Highlight opportunities and risks related to variation management, scrap initiatives and strategies.
• Follow established policies and procedures related to the role.
• Proactively assess and manage inventory positions aligning with strategic targets.
• Drive toward a stable, efficient Supply Plan and address deviations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure timely completion of planning cycles and provide scenario analyses to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with supply sites to ensure seamless flow of supply.
