Job summary

All Your BI is a remote-first data agency based in Rotterdam. We seek a Data Engineer with hands-on Azure experience to build end-to-end pipelines, warehouse layers, and BI delivery for logistics and industrial clients.

You will own data quality, model in Data Vault and 3NF, and deliver dashboards in Power BI while collaborating with a Europe-wide remote team. Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant work and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on experience in data engineering and warehouse work.
• Deep relational-database skills: 3NF modelling and execution plans.
• Excellent T-SQL for transformations and loading.
• Hands-on Azure data engineering with ADF, Data Lake Gen2 and Azure SQL.
• Power BI experience: datasets, models, relationships and DAX.
• Data quality is built in and monitored with Git as a default.
• English communication with clients and remote teams.
• Nice to have: Data Vault 2.0, Python, Dremio, and logistics domain exposure.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end pipelines in the Azure stack.
• Ingest data into Data Lake and Azure SQL, orchestrated with ADF.
• Develop data warehouse layers: Data Vault to dimensional Data Mart.
• Write and optimise stored procedures for ETL and loads.
• Model hubs, links, satellites, and conformed facts in the vault.
• Understand source systems and reflect true data meaning.
• Deliver in Power BI with self-built datasets and models.
• Own data quality, validation, monitoring, and root-cause fixes.
