Job summary

Rotterdam Innovation City is seeking an AR/AP Accountant to support daily accounting operations, including matching customer receipts, paying suppliers, reconciling bank lines, and closing books monthly with no unmatched items. You will flag irregularities for review when patterns do not fit.

The role reports to the Accounting Manager within a growing Finance team led by the VP Finance; English is the working language in an international environment, and there is emphasis on accurate, timely

Qualifications

• End-to-end AR/AP ownership: investigate unmatched receipts and manage supplier payments.
• Daily and monthly bank reconciliations to achieve a clean close.
• Maintain correct GL discipline aligned with the chart of accounts and flag unusual items.
• Rapidly ramp up on a new ERP/accounting system; depth of experience with one tool not required.
• Strong Excel skills for reconciliation, including pivots and lookups.
• Excellent written and spoken English; experience in international teams.
