Attendi is building a voice-powered notepad for healthcare professionals to capture and structure medical data at the point of care. As our Android engineer, you will own and scale Attendi’s native Android app, collaborating with backend, frontend, UX, and mobile teams to deliver high-quality voice recording, transcription, and documentation flows.

You will take ownership of Android architecture, CI/CD, Play Store releases, and platform UX using Material Design, while contributing to open-source

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience developing native Android apps.
• Strong experience with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose.
• Expertise in Android lifecycle, permissions, and UX patterns.
• Experience with testing strategies for Android apps (unit/integration/UI).
• End-to-end ownership of features from product input to release.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Attendi’s native Android application.
• Develop and maintain Attendi’s open-source Android microphone SDK (attendi-android).
• Build voice recording, transcription, and medical documentation flows for workflows.
• Collaborate with backend, frontend, UX, product, and mobile engineers.
• Own Android architecture, testing, CI/CD, Play Store releases, and crash monitoring.
