Job summary

Attendi is building a voice-powered notepad for healthcare professionals, delivering a native Android app to capture and structure medical data at the point of care. You will own Android architecture, shape UX decisions, and collaborate across teams to ensure a cohesive user experience.

Your role focuses on high-quality voice recording, transcription, and medical documentation flows, with ownership from product input to release, contributing to open-source efforts where applicable.

Qualifications

• Have at least 5 years of experience.
• Strong experience developing native Android applications with Kotlin.
• Production experience with Jetpack Compose.
• Understand Android lifecycle, permissions, foreground services, background execution limits, and platform-specific UX patterns.
• Experience with Kotlin coroutines and reactive programming with Flow.
• Able to take meaningful ownership of Android features end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Attendi’s native Android application.
• Develop and maintain Attendi’s open-source Android microphone SDK attendi-android.
