Job summary

Zeekr Europe is seeking a Regulatory Compliance and RMI Specialist to guide EU regulations across our vehicle fleet and Aftersales operations. You will define processes for RMI access, battery regulations, and road side assistance, working with Legal, procurement, engineering and regional teams.

You will monitor evolving EU rules, ensure audit readiness, and support NSCs, importers, and dealers with technical guidance and compliant documentation. Fluent English is essential.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of automotive industry experience (OEM aftersales preferred).
• Strong understanding of automotive legislation, aftersales operations, and EV technologies.
• Ability to interpret European regulations and translate them into practical processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Legal and external parties to ensure SERMI compliance.
• Monitor and interpret new EU regulations impacting service, repair, diagnostics, sustainability and data access.
• Manage the OEM’s Repair & Maintenance Information portal and control access to technical documents.
• Coordinate authentication and authorization for independent operators and partners.
• Oversee battery regulations, traceability, recycling, reporting, and ELV obligations.

The role

As Regulatory Compliance and RMI Specialist within Zeekr MSS you provide expert technical guidance and operational support related to European Regulations and Laws applicable to the EU Zeekr vehicle fleet. You furthermore define and guard key processes within the Aftersales department like Road Side Assistance. This role acts as a key interface legal, procurement, engineering, quality, and regional organizations, ensuring the correct identification, application, and technical implementation of regulations throughout the vehicle lifecycle. The position supports NSCs, importers, and, indirect dealers by resolving providing them with technical guidance and aftersales processes.

Regulatory compliance & legal governance

• Ensure full compliance with EU and local legislation relevant to aftersales operations, including MVBER, secured Repair & Maintenance Information (RMI), cybersecurity, and data protection requirements.
• Liaise with Legal and external parties to ensure SERMI compliance.
• Monitor and interpret new and evolving EU regulations impacting service, repair, diagnostics, sustainability, and data access.
• Ensure audit readiness and documentation accuracy for regulatory authorities.

Repair and maintenance information governance

• Manage the OEM’s Repair & Maintenance Information portal.
• Ensure availability, accuracy, and controlled access to technical documentation, labor times, repair methods, and service instructions.
• Provide Access to the RMI portal for individual as well as commercial use, Implement and monitor secured RMI access frameworks in compliance with EU requirements.
• Coordinate authentication and authorization mechanisms for independent operators and authorized partners.

Battery regulations & sustainability

• Oversee compliance with all type of battery legislation, including traceability, recycling, reporting, and end-of-life vehicle (ELV) obligations.
• Define and manage battery return, recycling, and reporting processes in cooperation with certified partners.
• Ensure environmental compliance and sustainability reporting requirements are met.
• Ensure Technical Compliance for all Markets and Models for the European markets in close cooperation with Zeekr Tech

Road Side Assistance

• Implement Road Side Assistance for new Markets.
• Follow up Road Side Assistance reporting.
• Design, implement and improve related processes in close collaboration with the Service provider.
• Support toll free number access, PO creation and customer facing availability of the needed information.
• Liaise with the Service Network Performance Specialist to design, price and advertise extended RSA packages as part of upselling opportunities.

To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:

We are looking for a professional at least 3-5 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably within OEM aftersales, EV compliance, or strategic aftersales functions.

• Strong understanding of automotive legislation, aftersales operations, and EV technologies.
• Ability to interpret European regulations and translate them into practical processes and technical documentation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proven experience in aftersales process design, implementation, and continuous improvement.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to work effectively across cross-functional and international teams.
• Customer-focused mindset with experience supporting regional organizations and dealer networks.
• Experience with compliance documentation, reporting tools, and process implementation is a plus.
• Exposure to HV battery architecture, roadside assistance operations, or automotive data platforms is advantageous.
• Fluent in English; additional European languages are a strong asset.
• Capable of managing multiple projects and stakeholders while contributing to long-term aftersales and service strategy.
