Job summary

Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in food regulation, strong English communication, and experience in a B2B environment. The role emphasizes risk assessment, policy development, and cross-market regulatory advice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in food regulation, ideally within the dairy industry.
• Proven experience working in a B2B environment.
• Strong understanding of food legislation and compliance processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German language skills are a plus.
• Analytical, proactive, and capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to interpret complex regulations and develop pragmatic, business-friendly solutions.

Responsibilities

• Monitor global food legislation, regulations, and industry standards, evaluating their impact on the business.
• Review and approve product labels, packaging, claims, and communication materials to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide regulatory guidance during product development and innovation projects, from initial concept to launch.
• Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses for new products, ingredients, packaging changes, and legislative updates.
• Advise internal teams on regulatory requirements and support resolution of compliance issues by identifying risks and developing practical solutions.
• Contribute to creating and updating policies, standards, and processes to strengthen compliance across the organization.
• Deliver training sessions to raise regulatory awareness within the company.
• Collaborate with international colleagues to ensure compliance across different markets.
• Develop expertise in areas such as sustainability, contaminants, packaging, nutrition, and food claims, becoming a trusted internal advisor.
